Active Ingredients & Composition

• Brinzolamide IP (10 mg / 1% w/v): A potent carbonic anhydrase inhibitor that restricts the biological secretion of fluid inside the ciliary body. 
• Brimonidine Tartrate IP (2 mg / 0.2% w/v): An alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that decreases fluid production while simultaneously improving standard fluid drainage channels out of the eye. 
• Benzalkonium Chloride IP (0.03 mg / 0.003% w/v): Serves as the active antimicrobial preservative system.

Directions for Use

1. Clean your hands thoroughly with soap and water before opening the product.
2. Shake well before use: Because Simbrinza is a suspension, the bottle must be shaken vigorously to guarantee the active medicinal microparticles are evenly mixed. []
3. Tilt your head back slightly, look upward, and gently pull down your lower eyelid to generate a small pocket.
4. Invert the bottle and squeeze exactly one drop into the generated pocket. Do not let the tip touch your eye, eyelid, hands, or any external surface to avoid microbial contamination.
5. Close your eye gently and press the inner corner of your eye (near your nose) with a clean finger for 1 to 2 minutes to minimize systemic medication absorption.
6. If wearing contact lenses: Always remove them before applying the drops and wait a minimum of 15 minutes before reinserting.

• Prescription Only (Rx): This medication must only be used under the direct guidance and regular monitoring of an ophthalmologist or eye care specialist.
• Sulfonamide Allergy Warning: Brinzolamide is a sulfonamide compound. Do not use this product if you have a known history of severe allergy to sulfa medications.
• Strict Age Contradiction: This formulation is strictly contraindicated for use in infants and children under 2 years of age due to the serious risk of central nervous system depression.
• Systemic Health Warning: Use with extreme caution if you have a history of severe kidney or liver impairment, severe cardiovascular disease, or mental depression.
• Temporary Vision Shifts: Mild stinging, transient redness, or brief blurred vision may happen immediately after instillation. Refrain from driving or operating machinery until your vision clears completely.
