Primary Veterinary Indications

Texableed is indicated for the prevention, control, and treatment of all types of internal and external hemorrhages in animals, including:

  • Surgical Hemostasis: Controlling capillary and tissue bleeding during or immediately following major surgical operations.

Administration & Suggested Dosage

  • Route of Administration: Intramuscular (IM) or Slow Intravenous (IV) injection only.
  • Standard Dosing: Typically administered at 10 mg to 15 mg per kg of body weight (approx. 1 ml per 10 kg body weight) once or twice daily depending on the severity of the bleeding, or as directed by a licensed veterinarian.
  • IV Precaution: When using the intravenous route, inject the solution very slowly to prevent transient hypotension (sudden drop in blood pressure).
